These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern the cleaning services provided by ShineOn OC Cleaning LLC (“ShineOn OC Cleaning,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) and your use of this website. By booking a service or using this site, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully.
1. Our Services & Scope
We provide residential and commercial cleaning services in Orange County, California. The tasks included in your clean depend on the service type and plan you select at booking. Specialty tasks (for example, interior windows, inside the oven or refrigerator, walls, or heavy post-construction cleanup) may be available as add-ons and are only performed when requested and confirmed in advance. We do not move heavy furniture or appliances, clean areas that are unsafe to reach, or handle biohazards (for example, mold, bodily fluids, or pest infestations).
2. Booking, Estimates & Payment
Prices and estimates are based on the information you provide (home size, condition, and requested services). If conditions differ significantly on arrival, we may adjust the quote before starting and will notify you first. Payment is due in full immediately upon completion of the service using the methods we accept. We may require a card on file to reserve your appointment. Our booking engine is powered in collaboration with BookingKoala.
3. Cancellation & Rescheduling
We ask for at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Cancellations or reschedules made with less notice, or lockouts where our team cannot access the property, may be subject to a fee of $60. Recurring plans may be paused or cancelled with 2 days’ notice.
4. Access to Your Property
Please let us know in advance how our team will access your home or business (someone present, a key, a lockbox, a gate/door code, or alarm instructions). If you provide an alarm code, please ensure it is correct and active. We treat all access information as confidential. If our team cannot gain access at the scheduled time, a lockout fee may apply (see Section 3).
5. Pets
We love pets and are happy to work in homes with animals. For everyone’s safety, please secure any pet that may be anxious around new people or equipment, and let us know about pets when you book. We are not responsible for pets that escape through doors or gates during a visit.
6. Satisfaction Guarantee
Your satisfaction matters to us. If something wasn’t cleaned to your expectations, contact us within 24 hours of your service and we will return to re-clean the affected areas at no additional charge. This guarantee covers a re-clean and does not include cash refunds unless required by law.
7. Breakage, Damage & Liability
Our team treats your home with care. In the rare event of accidental damage or breakage caused by our team, please notify us within 24 hours of the service so we can investigate and make it right. We reserve the right to repair or replace the item, or to arrange payment or credit, at our discretion. We are not liable for damage resulting from pre-existing wear, improperly mounted or unstable items, items not fastened correctly, or normal cleaning of delicate surfaces. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount paid for the service in question.
8. Valuables & Fragile Items
Please store cash, jewelry, irreplaceable, or high-value items in a safe place before your appointment. We recommend cleaning especially fragile or sentimental items yourself, or letting us know so we can take extra care or skip them.
9. SMS / Text Notifications
If you provide your mobile number and opt in, you may receive text messages related to booking confirmations, reminders, and updates. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP, and reply HELP for assistance. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. 10. Website Use & Intellectual Property
All content on this website (text, images, logos, and design) is the property of ShineOn OC Cleaning LLC and is protected by applicable copyright and trademark law. You may view and print pages for your own personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, reproduce, republish, or use our content for commercial purposes without our written permission.
11. Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability
Our website and its content are provided “as is.” We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the accuracy or completeness of the information on this site. To the fullest extent permitted by law, ShineOn OC Cleaning LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of this website or our services.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date above reflects the most recent version. By continuing to use our services or website after changes are posted, you agree to the updated Terms.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law provisions. Any dispute relating to these Terms or our services shall be handled in the courts located in Orange County, California.
14. Photography & Media Consent
By booking our services, you grant ShineOn OC Cleaning LLC permission to photograph or video your property both before and after cleaning, and to use these images for marketing, including on our website and social media. We do not publish personal or identifying details — such as faces, house numbers, addresses, mail, documents, or personal belongings. No compensation is provided for such use. If you’d prefer that we not photograph your property or use its images, just let us know by email or text before or at the time of service, and we’ll honor your request.
